Thrown stoneware. Striped sky blue and tenmoku with lots of texture. Fired to 1220°C in an electric kiln.
Each piece is wheel-thrown and glazed individually. The glaze can sometimes run, pool, or break differently depending on where it sits in the kiln, giving variation in colour and surface.
All my glazes are mixed by hand in the studio, and some pieces include materials I’ve foraged and processed from the local landscape.
